Boycott Google to Save Net Neutrality:
Google-Verizon Pact: It Gets Worse: βThe proposal is one massive loophole that sets the stage for the corporate takeover of the Internet.β
Action: Boycotts of Google's search engine (and/or advertisements). Pledge to use another search engine (and stick to it) from now on, until Google changes its stance. This will take time. But, if enough people make the move, it will get results.
Bottom line: Once again, we are being sold out -- by, from, and to corporate powers. Do you see Obama on stage making fierce pledges to save or protect Net Neutrality -- no matter what? Not a chance. It's the same scenario as with the Public Option. As a result, WE have to make the difference.

It's a very important issue that people just don't seem to think it's going to affect them. Like you have already stated about the extra fees. -
I think this action and many other's taken by Google over the past year have broken much trust between them and their partners as well as the public. Frankly their search results aren't that relevant anymore. Moreover, they are squeezing the very companies, the publisher's who have relied on them to create such a large business. Their actions are callous and are hurting individuals and families who have worked hard to create valuable products. Google's practices in the adsense arena are monopolistic. Their share of the market is far to large and they handle this responsibility in a negligent if not willfully intentional, negative manner.
