I take pride in being part of this advocacy. As a writer and a citizens who does his best to be as responsible as he can, I think it's my obligation to do what I can, in my own little way, to keep the light of demiocracy burning. But...I notice that my name was not included in the participating blogs anymore. I'm confused, but I'm not leaving the group, unless someone tells me to. But then again, I am everything a good Boy Scout should be -- except obedient.

The Election for 2010 is now in Question with the new bill pass Con-Ass

The aim of our group is to mobilize bloggers to give support and push with the election on 2010. But with the new passed bill in Congress such as the Con-Ass Bill , the coming election is now in question. The result of the bill Con-Ass created a doubt on the sincerity of the present government to push through with the election without a hidden agenda. If the Con-Ass will be organized in Congress, the probability of the renewing the constitution and changing the rules of the game will be different. The Con-Ass objective is to change provisions in the constitution of the Philippines, in particular the form of government from Presidential into Parliamentary form of government. Forming the congress without the senate into a Constitutional Assembly renewing other provisions on the constitution. What is the more hidden agenda , if the Con-ASS pushed through election can still be held on 2010 but on a parliamentary form of government and with these system , the present sitting president could be a candidate of his hometown and be elected as Prime Minister of the Parliament. The concerned filipino people had already shown their outrage with this development and protest actions are on the way. For us united bloggers make your stand on these developing history. There might be no election !!

Big daddyrichard one of our members here had designed a badge for our group and i am extemely greatful for his contribution to our group. If you have some comments on the designed please do so. As of the moment we are all 8 eight in the group so if all of you agrees with the design then lets approve it. About our event i do hope that you published blogs here in bloggers unite or put it on your own blogsite . Its about a year from now and there will be or no election in 2010 . What i heard about the news, the comelec is still on the bidding process for the company that will manage the computerized election and none had been approved yet . If these will be delayed and no winners for the bidding the election could be manual again. And basing on the past experiences with manual system , election would probably not a good result. From the would be presidential candidates , the infomercial of the would be candidates continous and we dont know if what they are using for this commercials are their own money or from the taxes of the filipino people. From the congress , the bill for the change of the charter was approved and from political analysis of some sectors these is a way where many are thinking would be put President Arroyo to power again be it on the parliamentary system . So fellow bloggers the heat is coming on the election 2010 , we have to wake up our filipino bloggers to raise some consciousness about the election , where do we stand from this event.
