On May 10, 2010 there will be national and local election for the government of the Philippines as scheduled. This coming election is what Filipinos are waiting for. The government of "Pres. Gloria M. Arroyo" had been blamed for so many corruptions and illegitimacy of governance. And the hidden news is she would be running again for Presidency. Will there be an election ? , If there will be one , who would be the good new president? What should be the programs of government of the new president? In these worldwide crisis, what kind of leaders should be elected.. Bloggers unite and come with blogs , text , images , videos all relating to a progressive result of the coming national and local election in the Philippines.

Big daddyrichard one of our members here had designed a badge for our group and i am extemely greatful for his contribution to our group. If you have some comments on the designed please do so. As of the moment we are all 8 eight in the group so if all of you agrees with the design then lets approve it.
About our event i do hope that you published blogs here in bloggers unite or put it on your own blogsite . Its about a year from now and there will be or no election in 2010 .
What i heard about the news, the comelec is still on the bidding process for the company that will manage the computerized election and none had been approved yet . If these will be delayed and no winners for the bidding the election could be manual again. And basing on the past experiences with manual system , election would probably not a good result.
From the would be presidential candidates , the infomercial of the would be candidates continous and we dont know if what they are using for this commercials are their own money or from the taxes of the filipino people.
From the congress , the bill for the change of the charter was approved and from political analysis of some sectors these is a way where many are thinking would be put President Arroyo to power again be it on the parliamentary system .
So fellow bloggers the heat is coming on the election 2010 , we have to wake up our filipino bloggers to raise some consciousness about the election , where do we stand from this event.
