In a way it is, "Art" is such a broad subject. However for some artist whom are scholars in fine arts, they don't consider it as a "high-art". I have taken some classes in fine arts for fun in College and I have work in galleries, and there are some people out there who wouldn't consider it as "art". NOT ME. YOu are designing a composition of your element when you do it right...so in a way it is art.

If you consider it an original creative expression of yourself . . . then it is art. If you are buying every scrapbook element and following someone's pattern or direction then it is not what I think of as art. Either way, you are sharing enthusiasm and appreciation for art so have an art party and enjoy yourself!
