It's so very easy to see what's wrong with the world, with each of our lives, with the life of someone or a bunch of people we know. We are bombarded by news of tragedies, especially by mainstream media. As bloggers, the power users of social media, we are able to shine a light on acts that are about "doing the right thing."

March 15, 2013 is the first bloggers unite event where the organizers and sponsors of bloggers unite are joining together with bloggers to "do the right thing." Bloggers Unite is about being a place to unite bloggers around positive causes with the hope and desire to make a difference in the world.

March 15, 2013 is your day to spotlight and share a story about "doing the right thing." You say "what the right thing" is! Then spread your story on BloggersUnite, share it on BlogCatalog, Facebook, Twitter and any other social communities that you belong to.

How This Works?

1. Grab a Bloggers Unite and Do the Right Thing Action Badge and place it on your blog.

2. Recruit other bloggers to unite with us. Click the share button on here and also ask your friends to take part.

3. On March 15th write a story on your blog about yourself, someone you know or a group that "do the right thing." Be as creative and crazy as you want and write about anything that interests you and suits your blog. Use video, text, audio or any other medium to share your story and inspire your readers.

4. The organizers will combine all posts on a "Do The Right Thing" Pinterest board.

5. The top 3 most powerful stories will be selected and gifts made to a charity or non-profit or individuals, "who are doing the right thing," of their choice.
