I am proud of my freedom of speech, and proud of womens activism in Iran (referring to Wife of M).... trully it is going to be another part of history. But, I respect their country and I think they can handle it...and might not agree with the whole corruption part, however their own people are speaking. Not us to try to solve...
Do nothing read and write about it is fine, but political action is not ours to tackle. Let the people of Iran handle this...
Better Late than Never!
Unfortunately I just found the message about this event, but I posted anyway and used the Twitter hash tag because my posts appear there, too. Thanks for caring to put this on and make all the thoughtful event suggestions.
I have an "email friend" (electronic pen pal?) in Iran, who is livid over what is happening there.
iran was ok , before you interfer
you want to support peasc in iran ! just leave iran for the iranian people . this is the logical.
if other countries interfer in iran it wont help peace, what we dont want is to change iran into 2ed ukrain.
the irania people have to be carful for what is going on.. this rigim they have is strong and did a lot good improvments for the country . maybe its not perfect !! but which one is perfect !!
unite yourself and dont let others to break you with false talks about freedom. you are into the way to be very strong country in the rigion .. others dont want this to happen. and its up to you to choice.
I take pride in the maturity of our wonderful people
I live in the U.S. For 30 years after the Revolution, Americans whispered about us with suspicion and distrust. They viewed us as the elements of the theocratic regime that has defamed our nation with their shameless acts.
However, during the last couple of weeks, the world watched for themselves how peaceful, how civilized, how mature, how resilient, and how sophisticated the people of Iran are. They also watched for themselves how brutal, how ruthless, how inhumane the power mongering rulers of this country are.
I mourn the loss of precious lives on the streets of Iran, but I promise you, their blood has not been wasted. These martyrs gave a totally different image of the true Iranians to the entire world. Now the outside world has respect for, and sympathy with, the noble cause of the Iranian people for liberty, freedom, and democracy. The future is bright. We should keep the torch aflame, the torch that millions of our fellow Iranians have fueled with their lives.

How can i be so self centered?
I have a post aiming to free the people of iran from their current situation. But first of all, I’d like to beg the forgiveness to the people of Iran and to Neda Agha Soltan for being ignorant for so long. For not keeping my eyes open for what is happening around me. How could I be so self centered?

Why everyone should support Iranian movement?

The argument that some would say, leave it to them because their problem, brings shame to worldwide unity against violation of human rights. Everyone on this planet should strongly condemn violation of human rights that is happening on the streets of Iran.
Protesters peacefully asking about their votes, what happened to their votes? You, I and all of us have responsibility to take action. Like when we take action on crisis in Africa, or coup in Honduras. It is the same. We didn’t ask you to support politicians or take side of a political group, you are supporting people and people’s right!
