Event Layouts

6/27/09

by: zmk

Hi.

I'm an Iranian woman myself and a blogger also.
I've joined this event as well:"bloggers unite for a free Iran" I do have a small complaint to make though. Who chooses the pictures for these events? For a start, women in this country do not cover their faces with veils, be it green or red or whatever other colour it is. Many of these pictures resemble Saudi women, not Iranian women.

Please do change them if you can (I suppose I should be emailing the admin but I wanted my comment read here as well).

Anyways. Thanks.

'Free Iran from the game of Politics.'

by: naveedqazi

The game for power should end. After a free & fair election, if some people get out on streets, I don't think its a sane protest! I show sympathy towards the people who lost their lives but whenever an uprising happens, people do get killed, as a part of collateral damage. It happens everywhere.

Mousavi should be solely blamed for this uprising because he has a power lust, which is quite evident--he wants a re-election only after a fair election! Which world order would accept it? America backed Mousavi because they wanted their stooges to win, so that they can manipulate and distort.Instead of showing respect, he violated all orders which exist in a socio-political domain.

13,216,411 votes for Mousavi--That's it!

What we - bloggers - can and can not publish about Iran

6/24/09

by: petercasier

A controversial subject: As a blogger, take 2 seconds to fill in a short poll answering the question: Should bloggers publish lists of Iranian bloggers, Twitterers, YouTube and Facebook users actively covering the protests?

twtpoll.com/26hvxz (poll runs until June 26th)

Opinions on this matter welcome....

Hi everyone I visited all your site and I noticed that your links points to the old url of this event.

Wrong link >>> www.bloggersunite.org/event/free-iran

The correct link should be
www.bloggersunite.org/event/bloggers-unite-for-a-free-iran

@TonyB even the link at this location www.bloggersunite.org/events is using an old link. I don't know If you can change it.

Regards

Twitter Action Item

by: bitsykalkbruner

Twitter Users, please set your location to Tehran & your time zone to GMT +3.30. Security forces are hunting for bloggers using location/timezone searches. I found this request on a tweet coming out of Iran earlier today. Can't hurt, might help.

Sad ...
