Event Layouts
Hi.
I'm an Iranian woman myself and a blogger also.
I've joined this event as well:"bloggers unite for a free Iran" I do have a small complaint to make though. Who chooses the pictures for these events? For a start, women in this country do not cover their faces with veils, be it green or red or whatever other colour it is. Many of these pictures resemble Saudi women, not Iranian women.
Please do change them if you can (I suppose I should be emailing the admin but I wanted my comment read here as well).
Anyways. Thanks.

I totally disagree with you, those women look very Persian, but maybe I feel that way because I actually lived in an Arabic country, and saw the difference. What is wonderful here, is that this forum is available to us to support the people living in Iran under horrible conditions, and be a positive voice. Lets unite for once in one Goal, Iran Freedom, and not worry about differences of opinion.

Of course I respect differences of opinion, Iranblossom. That’s what we’ve been trying to tell the rulers of Iran with our demonstrations for the past two weeks.
I didn’t say “the faces don’t look Iranian”, I meant the way some of them were covering their faces with veils totally isn’t the way we wear the headscarf here. I’ve lived in some Arab countries like yourself, and I have definitely seen the differences as well, and it’s more than just the style of their Hejab and so on.
Anyways, we in Tehran are glad that many in the West have been awaken by the events happening here. However, I think it’s a rather sad fact that it’s usually the violence that catches media attention quite fast. I hope in the future, we share both our happiness and sadness with one another around the globe.
Sorry if it’s been such a long reply. One final thing, my classmate was arrested last week and has just been released. I’ll tell him to join as well. It's always good to get some 'live' voices on forums like this one.
