Good sources of information: Don't want to Google it, Requesting Guidance

I find the disappearance of bees very disturbing. Any suggestions about articles I can read on this subject? I plan to post something on my blog. I'm also going to introduce my own topic--chronic pain patients, the disabled--so I'd also like to see what you've done from beginning to end. Beautiful badge!

DocRichard,

I've just laid out the bare bones for a blog dedicated to pain patients, and figuring out what will happen for the rest of September and beyond. I was going to suggest a day, but I've been so busy. Thank you for doing it!

Are you tied to the American Pain Foundation? Or chronic pain association? If you'd like to join us, just send me an email, or leave a message or comment at my blog site. With your email, I can invite you to become an author on the site, where you can post and delete. On of our goals was to start an event here. We are also doing the Virtual March on D.C., writing legislation, and starting media projects.
Even if you didn't want to participate, I would be grateful if you would take a look at what we are doing. People are just signing in, but later in the month, take a glance.
I thought of you two weeks ago. I'd have to look up my notes, but there was an article (could have been a knol,) all about the ramifications of the loss of bees, and some ideas for slowing it down, and the possible causes. This year, I'll make an effort to join your day.
Thanks again, and I will join on chronic pain day/ Sweet tides, Lina

  • Help the Vanishing Bees

To draw attention to the bees. They are vanishing in alarming numbers. With out bees we will have half of the food we need.

This event is to draw attention to the vanishing bees. To tell the public why we need them. How important they are to our survival. That they pollinate over half of the food we eat. They are disappearing at alarming rates. Alot of it has to do to our farming practices and the use of genetically altered crops, pesticides being sprayed and the land being cleaned up so they have no natural sources of food. My goal is to have bloggers blog about how bees effect their lives, how they are disappearing, and what we as humans can do to save them.
