Council sued over axed Bob Marley Concert

My name is Mike Forrester and I am a concert promoter. Last year I was due to stage the Bob Marley Festival featuring many artists that included Sean Paul and Ky-Mani Marley as a tribute on the 25th Anniversary of his death. A contract was signed with Manchester City Council for the rental of Platts Field Park, 6 days later they cancelled the contract saying they had been advised by the Police that the concert should be cancelled, due to concerns of public disorder, the Police have denied this in court. I am at present awaiting the Judge to make his decision, as the case is in reserve I will not hear the verdict till next month. You would have thought it was a clear cut case, Bob Marley promoted peace. I thought this was a free country......

People who have liked the idea of violence. Operating with a violent opponent with no word on how any steam. To achieve without respect. Rules of the total of any society. Will use any method. We just have to come which of political victory. Not interested in the social involvement of people and countries. Is Anachism. Thailand's current situation. Truth is a phenomenon that the political fight. Between the old conservative ideas with a new concept of Democracy. To usurp political power and interests. The Conservative party is not your idea of using steam to legally. In subversion and usurp political power and interests in democracy. Countries are falling in the pipeline. Anachism Legal conditions. The lack of law enforcement to the opposite groups, justice and equality, Without the theory and principles of law. This violation of human rights legislation. People do not want to see violence split in Thai society. As caveman or barbarian in the social model tab ups ever. Cause the power of national decline subsidence. Can not compete in the international economy and politics. In the globalization era. Compliance with human rights principles in the political fight. Will require knowledge and intelligence, and law. Fair rules in society. By lack of violence is not only human rights violations. Which is considered. Highest legal principles. The democratic form of government.

Everyday when im going to work im tuned on the bbc worldwide , everyday i hear really horrendous news about atrocities that are committed on the world against innocent people , mass murders , bombs killing thousands of innocent people , child abuse , domestic violence , its outrageous , sometimes i have to shut it off , the sheer of violence and magnitude of the crimes that are perpetrated are just overwhelming. The economic crash , the Mexican flew and the whole climate change has somehow let this violence epidemic pass unseen . The question is why ? How can this thinks still happening ? is our conscience so used to this kind of news that we don't react anymore , or just the fact that is to the others that is happening. There is no easy way of talking about this , i really fell sorry for this people , to live in a hell situation like that , maybe the really only way is to keep talking about this things to create awareness and hope things get better somehow. I would like to send a message of hope to all human beings that have been stripped of their basic rights , to live in peace and to be able to choose and believe in whatever they want without being persecuted by people with no moral or conscience. November 20th is the Children rights Day so, before Human Rights we have to celebrate our Children rights, to respect, to protect, to love and to be good parents of our lovely angels. If you want to join our school and to mark this important day for our children ,please take white baloons and rise them in to the air, write one or more of the children right and your name.We do this on November at 10am.If you do this, sent us some photo of your ceremony at alina_dyma@yahoo.com(I'm teaching at a school, language and literature). THE Universal Declaration Rights is the moral campus for governments and individuals alike with regards to upholding human rights. If religiously followed the world would become a better place, man would co-exist in peace ,dignity and prosperity.However,despite it's the virtues of the UDHR, the world since 2001 has seem an upsurge in torture,terrorism and most excessive repression of human rights in Palestine and Zimbabwe. There be more international mechanisms which coerce governments as the custodians of human rights to live up to their mandate.without input from the state as with the case in Zimbabwe where the state is promoting the abuse of human rights through enforced disappearances and the state's unwillingness to prosecute perpetrators of the june 27 violence. From such a standpoint the international community should find befitting ways to whip governments which disregard the significance of human rights in their political discourse.That is when the gap between principle and implementation will lead to respect for human rights. All over the world, people in poverty are demanding dignity. They want an end to the injustice and exclusion that keep them trapped in deprivation. They want to have control over the decisions that affect their lives. They want their rights to be respected and their voices to count. Join them now. Add your voice to Amnesty International’s new campaign. When people in poverty talk of their experiences, they do not just talk of deprivation – although of course that is key. They also talk of whether they can send their children to school, and whether that school, along with their home, will be bulldozed in the morning. They talk of living in fear of violence, of being treated like criminals, of being excluded not just from what is perceived as ‘mainstream’ society but also from decisions taken on their own behalf, of never being listened to. They talk of arbitrary arrests, of losing their scant livelihoods on the whim of an international corporation’s determination to extract resources from under their feet, of being marginalized, of having no access to justice. They talk about the experiences that shape their lives: experiences of deprivation, insecurity, exclusion and a sense of voicelessness. In the next few years, Amnesty International will be working with individuals and communities who are living in poverty to ensure that when they talk about their experiences, governments listen.
