Hi T, go to: wall.wfp.org

Click on "Get Started" top right of your screen and you'll be walked through the process:

1. Pick a donation amount (anything helps)
2. Add the email address for you mom
2. Upload a photo and write your message

And that's it!

Your message will be shared with everyone else, as well as your mother, and you help another mother, in one go.

I am a mother in a developing nation, actually categorized as a third world country, the Philippines...yes, i wish to tell everyone that "mothers" in countries such as ours are mostly submissive individuals who's self-sacrifices for the benefit of their children come first than anything else...I, and I guess, in behalf of all the other mothers who share the same sentiments and point of view such as mine, truly appreciate this endeavor...we may not be blessed with such material wealth and other means to sustain very comfortable and luxurious lives...but, things we're blessed with are: will to survive, faith to go through our everday existence and unconditional love for our children (and those around us)...more power to this cause! Mabuhay to Mothers in Developing Nations and Mothers of the Whole Mother Earth!

Hi, thanks so much for adding your personal experience! I really liked your comments about the things that mothers in developing nations are blessed with! I'm from South Africa, and would like to add: the strength to find good in the bad, the ability to smile despite worries, the strength give when there's nothing! Happy Mother's Day PaxAngelicus and all other mothers!

Mothers in developing nations are often last to eat, despite producing most of the food! This Mother's Day let's help a mom feed her child.

Word of mouth can be a powerful tool in the fight against hunger! Telling people about the daily life faced by mothers in developing nations not only raises awareness but gives others the opportunity to change the status quo. To talk about the issue, you can find information here: http://www.wfp.org/bloggers-against-hunger Instead of giving a traditional Hallmark card, it would be great if they could add an ecard to the Wall Against Hunger: http://wall.wfp.org It allows you to share you message with the world, as well as helping a mother feed her child.
