National Pollution Prevention Week
September 20, 2010
Objective:
Pollution Prevention Week is the time when businesses, environmental groups and citizens can join forces for a common cause.
Pollution Prevention Week is the third full week in September each year. For more than a decade now, this week has been an opportunity for individuals, businesses, and government to emphasize and highlight their pollution prevention and sustainability activities and achievements, expand current pollution prevention efforts, and commit to new actions.
It's great to recycle and treat waste, but preventing pollution in the first place saves money and protects the environment. Pollution prevention measures can protect the environment before pollution even begins, save energy and natural resources, and leave our homes, schools and workplaces cleaner and safer.
Please join in during the week of September 20th-26th to help raise awareness of pollution prevention and to help make our environment cleaner and safer one blog at a time.

9/13/10 how do I promote this?
by: samdeane
Im confused - I have a solar power based blog with over 200 visitors per day - i want to make mention of this anti-pollution event but there is no press releases or articles and no pix of badges to promote it with.
What am I supposed to do? I am not entirely intuitive. I need some instruction - please advise
