Objective:
By planting an indigenous tree you can make a contribution to reducing CO2 emissions and improve biodiversity in your locale during 2010.

World Forestry Day 2010 will be acknowledged by countries all over the world. As well as raising awareness the purpose of the event is to promote the planting and management of trees across the globe.

You can make a small contribution by planting a tree which will improve biodiivesity and wildlife habitats in your locality.

Even just getting out and visiting a woodland that week-end to enjoy trees and consider the issues would be an idea.
