Run and Rally to Stop the Silence
Child sexual abuse (CSA) is a silent epidemic throughout the United States and the world. We need to raise awareness and stop the silence.
Child sexual abuse (CSA) is a silent epidemic throughout the United States and the world, creating social havoc - for the children, adult survivors, and society. It can be prevented and it can be treated, but a conscious and sustained effort is both missing and essential. On April 19, 2009, we are holding the Run and Rally to Stop the Silence – And we'd like you all to come! This 6th Annual Event - the Race, Run and Rally to Stop the Silence - will be held from 8:00 am to approximately 12:00 am on Sunday, April 19, 2009 in West Potomac Park in Washington DC.

Marj - I have already had my event "Child Abuse Awareness Day" on April 4th...
What I meant by hovering on my post....I can not submit a permalink....didn't you help me with that for the last Carnival? I have posted a poem for this upcoming Carnival...date today April 14TH...."Renewal Of Life". I am also participating, by post, for the Race, Run and Rally on April 19th.

Rainbow: I know you wrote the post, too. I saw it and it was excellent. What I'm talking about, here at Bloggers Unite, may give you a little more exposure to that post. See on the Run and Rally events page, on the right, where it says "7 bloggers participating" and then under that there's a blue band that says "Participating Blogs" and there's nothing there? If you go over to Blog Reader Appreciation Day, there are a bunch of links there. If you click on the "Have an article for this event? Submit it!" (under the blue band on the Rally page) you can submit your blog post and it will show up under there. Then, when I get my post done, it will appear there, too. Hopefully, all seven or eight of us will have blog post links there eventually.
