Objective:
To Support the Millennium Development Goals

To bring together at least 15 million people worldwide in solidarity towards Stand up campaign against corruption and Poverty thereby creating a global voice against practice of corruption that in turn act as stumbling block towards the Millennium Development Goals.

To collect details of RTI applications filed and bring awareness about RTI act and similar laws in different countries. We look forward to having atleast 1 lakh RTI applications Filed which falls under the objectives of the campaign ( ie Corruption and Poverty)

To use the anti corruption Tools like RTI, development Pact and other online resources to mobilize citizen action against corruption and take up stern action against corruption

To create a platform for citizens and Art of Living volunteers to understand Rights of Citizens. To pressurize Government on speeding up actions towards achievement of The Millennium Development goals.

To reach the support of 2 billion estimated web users (majority Youth Population) by use of web 2 technologies like Twitter, Facebook, Orkut, stumble upon and involve in discussions, online forums and other online activities.

The Art of Living Volunteers to hold talks and discussions with various stakeholders during the implementation of DP and while they help file RTIs for other citizens.

To create Petititions (both offline and Online) signed by people urging government to take action for the MDGs.

Creation of development pact will have MDGs also in focus. Through the campaign, the Art of living volunteers will also involve (understand) local issues like maintenance of school, facilities provided by health centers etc which will be priority for using the anti corruption tools.
