Objective:
ActionAid Australia is channelling bloggers to help raise awareness about global poverty and how new innovations can be used to change lives.

Social media and new technology is changing the way Australians communicate with each other and with friends, family and colleagues around the world.

But what if this phenomenon could also be used to make the world a better place? What if social media holds the key to one of the greatest challenges of our generation – ending poverty.

On Wednesday April 28, ActionAid is inviting bloggers to critically and constructively examine the role social media and new technology play in fighting poverty and injustice.
