All you have to do to help end world hunger is to join thousands of others bloggers on April 29 and write a post about world hunger.

I am blogging this month for April's Child Abuse Prevention Month, as my blog--Survivors Can Thrive!--is about surviving child abuse. survivorscanthrive.blogspot.com But, there are so many children around the world who are suffering because they simply don't have enough to eat. I will add my voice to this cause on April 29.
My family has been giving the gift of Heifer livestock instead of wrapped presents for Christmas for the last few years. It is very rewarding and the recipients love it! I encourage everyone to help out Heifer International. They are truly a wonderful organization that is helping to give others a hand up instead of simply a hand out. Give generously as you are able!

I spent most of my childhood years in abject poverty and I'm well aware of what huger feels like. Many people have not had that experience and consequently don't have memories like mine. I'm glad they don't but the idea if fasting is IMHO a good one. Thanks for leaving me this message.
