veteran-palooza over at Black Tie And Flip Flops

11/11/09

by: johnleesandiego

Over the course of the day at Black Tie and Flip Flops today a series of veterans-related articles will be posted; including some re-posts from the past, highlighting veterans in the United States. Most will be related to foodpolicy, soup kitchen, and shelters as I spend a great deal of time working in those ministries in the Episcopal Diocese of Newark NJ.

In addition, the Veterans Organizations featured on the bloggers unite event for today will be featured in our regular Thursday "Favourite Websites:" over the next several months so that after writing about them today we'll re-blog-cast them to keep Veterans front and center of the American consciousness.

We'll also be tweeting and facebooking the organizations today.
