I just got off a chat with Brandon Mendelson, Walter Schwabe, @gneoak, @horathoron @paulney @chocan, @lalonde where we are teaming up together to promote 1 Million pics for donations for every town, city, where ever your local food bank is.

You may want to jump in to inspire peeps in your local community to do a donation day on Nov 13 and blog about it. Take pictures and post them on www.thanksamillion.ca

I will be posting more about this on my blog and on sedonapies.com

If you not sure what you want to write about, this is a wonderful difference maker for your local community.

You can right now, join us by following these people and tweeting about this day Nov 13 and about this project. #1Mpics.

Thank you so very much for wanting to make a difference! I am honored.

  • World Kindness Day

Let's write about stories of kindness and the difference it has made in your life so we can transform and inspire others to join us.

The Origin of World Kindness Day: World Kindness Day evolved from a series of conferences in 1996-1997 in Japan by a group known as the World Kindness Movement. These conferences brought together groups interested in promoting more kindness around the world. It culminated in the "Declaration of Kindness" on November 13,1997. With this declaration, a new and very special day was born. I would like to have World Kindness - Wouldn't it be great? My kindness challenge is that everyone commit to performing Random Acts of Kindness, on this very day, and then blog about it. I challenge other Bloggers to to participate and truly make a difference by performing "random acts of kindness" or "paying it forward." Where did the concept of Random Acts of Kindness originate" "Established in 1995 as a 501c3 nonprofit organization, The Random Acts of Kindness Foundation is a resource for people committed to spreading kindness. We provide a wide variety of materials on our website, including activity ideas, lesson plans, project plans, teacher’s guide, project planning guide, publicity guide, and workplace resources on our website at http://www.actsofkindness.org – all free of charge."
