Objective:
Put on your favorite blue jeans and write to raise awareness and support for the global rare disease community.

The hope for this Bloggers Unite event is to move beyond the disease specific silos and foundations to bring the rare disease community together while raising awareness in a visible visceral way.

Something this community lacks are voices coming together to link the 7,000 or more diseases and 30 million or more people together. We will get further and faster working together for better treatments and cures, now.

We have no time to waste. Let's work together to lift up the entire rare disease community, one blog post at a time.

So put on your favorite blue jeans and start writing -- it's time to raise awareness and support for the millions and millions of folks living with rare diseases around the world!
