If you have any (or any more) posts for Make NOISE to End Poverty Worldwide please get them in today so we can report them to the SUTA. Here is a LiveBinder link with all the posts so far http://bit.ly/9Lppj2 Monday UN MDG Summit.
Today September 18 is the main push for the Stand Up Take Action World Mobilization so if you have blog posts for Make NOISE to End Poverty Worldwide it would be great to get them up today!
Tomorrow 9/17 is the 1st day of the 3 day Stand Up End Poverty event http://bit.ly/cOjzoc to tell the World Governments meeting at the UN for the MDG Summit to keep their promise made a decade ago. Thank you for your posts. The best day for impact should be 9/18 but the day after will provide lots of material. I will try to approve posts ASAP but you will also be featured on my blog.
Thank you for your participation last year on November 17th for “Fight for Preemies.” We look forward to having you on board again this year. Thanks for all your support!
You know it would be a heck of a lot easier if at least event organizers could broadcast to their followers with BloggersUnite as you can with BlogCatalog.
Thank you for blogging last yr for Invisible Illness Week! I hope you will join us again, posting a blog any time between now and 9/19/10. Invisible Illness Week is 9/13-19. To be a part of this year's "blogging for a cause" just go to: http://ow.ly/2AEbe Our web site at http://invisibleillnessweek.com also has a Meme, a virtual conference next wk, and a free 80-page ebook we wrote just for you! Thanks so much for your participation. It makes a difference for those who suffer silently. Lisa C.
A bit of serendipity. Stand Against Poverty who is overseeing the worldwide mobilization we are taking part in has made Meetup Events for all online and on street events. You can see it with this url http://bit.ly/atBAKq
I have changed the BloggerUnite Make NOISE site so it goes there. From there you can go to their Facebook site, Twitter site, main site and back to here. Because its geo-based it uses my hometown but this is a global online event. Do me a big favor and to to http://bit.ly/atBAKq and click on I'm interested.
Bloggers Unite to Make NOISE to End Poverty Worldwide is on the official Stand Up Take Action site mobilization map. More info under comments at the Bloggers Unite Make NOISE event site.
Thank you so much for signing up to blog for National Invisible Chronic Illness Awareness Week! Bloggers Unite is a great way to be able to keep track of who has signed up to blog on behalf of our cause, however, we are not able to email you. The only way for me to reach you is to go to each person's site here and post. So I encourage you to go over to http://invisibleillnessweek.com and sign up there for the daily email updates and there you will receive additional info, tips, deadline and such.
Thank you so much for your help! Just some tips!
- You can blog any time
- Please remember to blog at least one during Sept 13-19
- Our web site is http://invisibleillnessweek.com

- Be sure to let us know someone (via a blog comment on our site, a tweet, etc.) when you post a blog so we can give you a shout out!
- If you have written a blog that you would like considered to have posted in its entirety as a "guest blogger" please send the entire blog post to me at rest [ at ] restministries.org and INCLUDE a bio 1-3 sentences long, and a photo of yourself if you'd like that by your bio. Be sure to also include a link back to your web site!

I want to make it clear that the Bloggers Unite to Make NOISE to End Poverty begins on September 17 with the Stand Up Take Action worldwide mobilization which continues to September 19. Beginning September 20 the United Nations is holding a summit on the Millennium Development Goals which goes to September 22. Personally, I will be doing blog posts throughout and following up.
My apologies to everyone, I have been struggling with the links between the Stand Up Take Action event site and the BU Make Noise site. I got the link from BU Make Noise to SUTA fixed but so far still waiting for SUTA to get their side fixed. I will let you know. Also our event is Sept 17. the reported event on Oct 17 is different very worthwhile but different.
Speaking out about suicide has been a prime mission of my work as a broadcast journalist on local TV in Chicago and in the work I do as a volunteer. Go to KevinRoyReports.com to watch a very personal story about what happened to my family when my mother took her life.
Hats off to the 30 bloggers who have signed up so far.
It says so much about the stigma that goes with mental illness that we don't have hundreds of bloggers -- we need more! Is there a more important cause? I doubt it.
The Bloggers Unite Make NOISE for the Millennium Development Goals event is now officially part of the STAND UP 2010 | Stand Against Poverty Campaign http://t.co/RfYKr1z the event page is updated with the new url This is a major world event and your participation would greatly help in getting the word out. I am a part time non-professional blogger using this as a means of supporting causes and learning at the same time. Your web creds would certainly help this worthwhile project.
I have linked with all members of Make Noise for the Millennium Development Goals under my blog Milestones for a New Millennium at "Bloggers of BloggersUnite for the MDGs". If you have anything to say about ending poverty, educating our young, gender equity, child health, maternal health, ending AIDS, malaria, TB, environmental sustainability or global partnership please join and make your online voice heard in time for the United Nations summit on the MDGs in September.
I organized this event last year.I am now preparing for this year's.
Did you notice this one?

We as bloggers have an opportunity to have a say about the 8 MDGs, 15 targets and 1,000,000 ideas out there to address these issues of alleviating poverty, education, women's rights, global health especially for maternity and children, protecting the environment, or fair trade and sustainable economic development and want a chance to address this issue when our world leaders are meeting you should be part of this event. Also please think about joining grou.ps/makenoiseformdgs

My latest post to the Make NOISE for the MDG event provides links to the UN informal interactive hearings with NGOs, Civil Society and the Private Sector. bit.ly/9R35Qj and linking to background on the policy initiatives.
I just rewrote the event objective and description for Make Noise for the Millennium Development Goals hopefully giving people a better idea of what the event is about. Anyone blogging on 1. Ending Hunger 2. Providing Universal Education 3. Establishing Gender Equity 4. Ensuring Global Child Health 5. Ensuring Global Maternal Health 6. Combating and eradicating HIV/AIDS and other diseases 7. Establishing Environmental Sustainability or 8. Working Towards Global Partnership should please join.
Seems that there were problems with some of the links I gave for the Make NOISE for the MDGs on Grou.ps and other related pages. This time I will avoid bitly types.
