What has occurred in Haiti is horrible. This situation reminds me of how fragile life is and how we need to bond together to help one another. Every few years there is a major disaster that affects millions of people and kills many thousands of people. It is exciting to see that as a global community we have the ability to make a difference and help people all over the globe.
