Thanks so much for your wonderful post about the Race and Rally to Stop the Silence of Child Sexual Abuse. As promised, I put a link up to it from my blog.
Rainbow:I saw your blog post and it was excellent. If you submit it here, at Bloggers Unite, you may get a little more exposure. See on the Run and Rally events page, "7 bloggers participating?" Under that--a blue band: "Participating Blogs" (nothing there)? On Blog Reader Apptn Day, there's a bunch of links there. Click on the Rally's "Have an article for this event? Submit it!" (under blue band) & your blog post link will show up there. TX!
I'm glad you figured out the Blog Reader Apptn. stuff. I'm kinda a cyber klutz so some of that stuff is hard for me.
Hey, thanks for getting your blog post up about the Run and Rally to Stop the Silence of Child Sexual Abuse. Are you going to "submit" that at the Run and Rally event page? I think Iknow how to do that one, if you need help.
Marj - I hv never participated in Blog Reader Appreciation Day...do we write individual posts or one post and include all that we want to thank. How do we use the badges? I hv saved them to my computer.
Got your comment about Child Abuse Prevention/Awareness DAY. Shucks! Oh well.
As far as the permalink goes for the Blog Carnival Against Child Abuse, I think you have your archives of posts listed on your sidebar, right? Just click on the title of the one you want and the permalink will automatically come up in your address window at the top of your computer page. This is the permalink you enter at http://blogcarnival.com/bc/submit_355.html.
Is there any way we can change the date for CHILD ABUSE PREVENTION/AWARENESS MONTH to the LAST day of the month--April 30, so that we can continue to submit our posts about it? I want to keep posting all-month long.
I don't mean to be thick, but I'm not totally sure what you mean by "hover" over your post. But, I'll be happy to help in any way I can. You can leave me a comment at my blog, or a shout here, or you can e-mail me. Just let me know.
Hi Rainbow, Here's how to get the badge. On a PC right click on the image you want to use and click on SAVE IMAGE. It will be downloaded to your computer, probably either to your desktop or download folder. Insert the pic into your blog like any other photo. Hope that helps, Robin
Glad to help.
I was abused by World War II... I was one of the lucky ones... so now, I work to defend Humanity from every form of abuse.
I think that babies are the most powerful force in the universe... Life would destroy the whole world to save them from......each other's carelessness.
Hi Rainbow! I've just submitted my post on National Child Abuse Awareness Month about half an hour ago. I hope it will be of help in making this event a success and in helping contribute to a safer, happier world for our children.
Hi Rainbow,
It's saddening to read about children being abused everywhere not only in the 3rd world countries but also in developed countries. Either abused by family or by other people they trust. I'm a parent which makes me more aware and be help to convey the message .
Thank you
Rainbow, it's a pleasure to join National Child Abuse Awareness Month. It's one of the most important events anybody can join. I'll be sure to do the post before April 4. Thanks for organizing the event!
Rainbow, we adopted our son from foster care in 2004 when he was 6. Five years later we are still helping him heal from the abuse and neglect he endured from his first family. Every child deserves to be safe and loved. Thanks for sponsoring this.
Hi Rainbow... I used "you" as jumpin place on my blog entry this morning... not sure if good for you to view it or not... you will have to decide but i wanted to warn you that the content may be painful for you..

Indeed, we must all allow our voices to be heard... silence can no longer be an option. Thank you for adding your voice for those who cannot speak for themselves.
