I'm a novice writer, late bloomer, chocolate addict, but above all things I am the mom of an amazing brood of kiddos. Dalton (4) is a ray of sunshine and is an outstanding ambassador for Down Syndrome, Bella (6) has become the most compassionate child, championing her brothers disability by opening dialogue with her classmates and at school standing up in front of an auditorium of kids to tell Miss TN that she has a brother with special needs, how much she loves him, and asked the spokeswoman if she had siblings too! Everyday I am amazed, and sometimes overwhelmed, but it comes with fulfillment beyond my wildest dreams.
