Taking it for Granted
I can't imagine not being able to read or write. That's what I do. I read and I write. I would be lost. I imagine that's how so many people in this country and around the world must feel every day. This is a great cause and I'm glad to be able to lend my voice to it.

Cycle of Violence

It's really a cycle we must learn to break. I heard a woman speak on the subject once - how women who are abused react to the violence. She has been an expert in many murder trials where the woman kills her abuser and the woman has been aquitted because of this experts theories. I hope to find more on this and bring it to light in my post.
