Hello! I’m in my early 30’s. I have Cerebral Palsy. I’m an active disability right advocate. I have a website that showcases my advocacy efforts and a blog about my thoughts on disability issues. I’m please to be joining this site near the 20th anniversary of the ADA.

Tell and show your kids there’s room in the world for ‘different’. Don’t tell kids I’m ‘just like them’. They can obviously see I’m not. Sure you want to let them know I’m just a person. But why tell them we are alike when we are different? Teach acceptance thru diversity.
