Brian Dowling

My day job is economic development professional for a city government. Now endeavoring to apply what I learned in government and more importantly through interacting via the web regarding community participation and governance. Previously, I was involved with the effort to get the word out in support of the UN Millennium Development Goals. The biggest lesson I came away is that people cannot connect with empowering others to find the means of overcoming economic challenges if they don't have or use that ability themselves. I am seeking to apply the lessons learned to local governance and community transformation closer to home.

Mr. Briandpm, Oh, so you're in blogging hibernation, that's probably one of the reasons why you were not responding to mysusefultips messages. Anyway, I am still hoping that you emerge from it as I am worried about the fact that some of myusefultips articles are posted in other bloggers websites without my permission. Is this part of the Bloggersunite/MDG cause/goal? Please clarify. Thank you, www.myusefultips.com I
