So glad to help organize this event
I've had the amazing opportunity to help organize and promote this event in an official capacity and have been deeply moved by the generosity and creativity of Bloggers Unite members.
Heifer and Bloggers Unite have set up a Team Heifer where you can give money in connection with this event:

So far we've raised several hundred dollars.
There are also many dozens of excellent blog posts, Twitter updates, YouTube videos and other social media items that we've published as a collective for this day.

This event will be wonderful. I'm the Blogger Relations Coordinator for it, meaning I get to do a lot of talking to bloggers and inviting them to participate. If you have any ideas on how to improve Blog Action Day, please let me know! Thanks so much for setting this up in Bloggers Unite!
