I started this blog in my second year of a Masters by research at the University of NSW.(Australia) My blog throw together began with material relating to areas of my research. Being an artist, some of the material is visual and other times simply reading and notes relating to what is going on in my head. I re-appropriated some of the iconography of recent the Bush / Kerry epoch, one which has increasingly seen the forces of conservative Christianity lobby (25% of the population) align themselves with the institution of government in a virtual war against a terror, faithfully projected to a primed US audience via a compliant media: The ‘cultural war’ is war. Terror is an instrument of war. Religion sublimates terror.
