A movement that aims to empower every human person to eradicate hunger, starting in the Philippines.

Empower the Poor. Eradicate Hunger.

Did you know that in a recent survey for hunger, the Philippines ranked 5th in the world? We are even hungrier than Ghana! This is unthinkable in a country where land is abundant!

Our answer : BAYAN-ANIHAN!

Our campaign : GOODBYE GUTOM!

Goodbye hunger. Goodbye to the hungry.

What we are doing?
1. Build at least 2,500 farms and feed 500,000 for life by 2011.
2. Create a lifestyle of patriotism and heroism by mobilizing the youth to BE INSPIRED and BE INVOLVED in eradicating hunger.
3. Transform slums into productive communities through the wholistic work of Gawad Kalinga.
