Fraternal hug from Brazil.
Hi, Linda, so sorry you are in a bad period. I really do admire how you manage to get through when I'm sure it's not easy.
I haven't even posted for my own event yet, though I have a good sense of it-- so I'll get it done eventually.
Take care.
Hi, Don't forget to put a link to your post on the events page for the Homeless Persons' Memorial Day. I just came from Springfield's event, a sad affair...thanks again. (If you don't get to it today, there's always tomorrow!)
I'm trying to make up a word for, "I'm sorry, I'm extremely ill, and have been negligent of my duties, but not by choice. And right now I'm up, but until I find the right doctors and get surgery, hopefully soon, I'll be back to my old self. I thought of an acronym, but I decided to go to Greek/Latin roots. I am sorry, but I did manage to write my pieces for her, but I'm training a speech to text program, and it's slowly improving. Sweet tides, and Happy Holidays (sorry if that's belated.)
The International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women I have two post in this subject in my blog who I want to share with you and everyone.Welcome to my blog
I have one post approved from her from September 16. I have been checking regularly between every couple of hours to every 10 minutes and checked just now. No new posts.
I appreciate anything you can do. I did get BarkhaDhar's post. It is up at the event site and included in the LiveBinder I made of the posts that were received as part of this effort. http://bit.ly/9Lppj2 Most people at least as of 6:08 pm on the west coast didn't post anything. This is my last effort in this vein, I am going back to writing what I want.
Today is the last day for the Stand Up Take Action Worldwide mobilization. If you have any (or any more) posts for Make NOISE to End Poverty Worldwide please get them in today so we can report them to the SUTA. Here is a LiveBinder link with all the posts so far http://bit.ly/9Lppj2 Monday UN MDG Summit.

Tomorrow 9/17 is the 1st day of the 3 day Stand Up End Poverty event http://bit.ly/cOjzoc to tell the World Governments meeting at the UN for the MDG Summit to keep their promise made a decade ago. Thank you for your posts. The best day for impact should be 9/18 but the day after will provide lots of material. I will try to approve posts ASAP but you will also be featured on my blog.

I have changed the BloggerUnite Make NOISE site so it goes there. From there you can go to their Facebook site, Twitter site, main site and back to here. Because its geo-based it uses my hometown but this is a global online event. Do me a big favor and to to http://bit.ly/atBAKq and click on I'm interested.
Bloggers Unite to Make NOISE to End Poverty Worldwide is on the official Stand Up Take Action site mobilization map. More info under comments at the Bloggers Unite Make NOISE event site.
I want to make it clear that the Bloggers Unite to Make NOISE to End Poverty begins on September 17 with the Stand Up Take Action worldwide mobilization which continues to September 19. Beginning September 20 the United Nations is holding a summit on the Millennium Development Goals which goes to September 22. Personally, I will be doing blog posts throughout and following up.
My apologies to everyone, I have been struggling with the links between the Stand Up Take Action event site and the BU Make Noise site. I got the link from BU Make Noise to SUTA fixed but so far still waiting for SUTA to get their side fixed. I will let you know. Also our event is Sept 17. the reported event on Oct 17 is different very worthwhile but different.
The Bloggers Unite Make NOISE for the Millennium Development Goals event is now officially part of the STAND UP 2010 | Stand Against Poverty Campaign http://t.co/RfYKr1z the event page is updated with the new url
Luckily (for you, not me) I've got a frog in my throat. I think that makes us married? So who will break the news to my husband? Can I do it, please? I've been trying to get rid of him for 10 years now. Sunday is our 14th anniversary; I only wanted four. Oh, to be green...
Just wanted you to know that I appreciate all that you have been doing for the MDGs. Also please contribute any articles on the MDGs MyUseFulTips did http://bit.ly/dhYjlg you don't have to wait until September. You can also join a MDG Grou.ps http://bit.ly/dj85fE Thanks
To be honest no, may with the view that BC created BloggersUnite for this type of activism. Social Media is actually quite balkanized or silo-ed. I try to connect my sites but keeping them up can be difficult. Compart Flowers is a good example on an integrated system. Will think more on BC group.
BarkhaDhar: There is an ongoing issue with leaving comments on Blogger. I should be following your blog, but I'll check to make sure. I follow people on BCatalog, but when I checked, for some reason, they were in as friends, but all the following was gone. Thank you for the compliment; I wanted the post to be practical help. Sweet tides, Linda
Thanks for posting some very helpful suggestions and resources on Disability
Wanted to post this comment on your blog but couldn't.
Nice visiting and following you

For me, assessing my blog and calling it honest is the highest compliment you could give. I hate intellectual honesty. I will post your last post, and both a link and written attribution, in quotes, will be added. I've been at this all day, and I'm beat. Thank for befriending me: My own friends read something and CALL me on the phone to talk about it. It doesn't occur to them to...ah, well, I still love them. Will be watching your posts, and thank you. Sweet tides, Linda
