I live with multiple chronic illnesses: FM, Endo, food allergies, TMJD, IBS, three forms of arthritis, Hashimoto’s disease and bulging and herniated discs. I’ve been blogging about The ICI Experience since 2007. I’ve been interested in the environmental links to disease since it was discovered in 1992 that exposure to dioxins is directly correlated to the incidence of Endometriosis. Becoming a Consultant for the Ava Anderson line of non-toxic skincare and cosmetics has made me even more aware of the dangers of chemicals everywhere in our environment. I started a blog in 2010 called Non-Toxic Me to write about these issues. On my life before CI took over: I have a bachelor’s degree in Poli Sci with a minor in Computer Science. My work experience includes administrative and office management, university level academic advising, sales of sewing machines and accessories, and restaurant management. I have volunteered with CASA, Court Appointed Special Advocates, for abused and neglected children in our court system. So far, this is not the way I expected my life to turn out. But I’m still working on it.
