Kim, 6 days to World Hunger Day 2011, it is just not fair that 1/6 of humanity live in extreme hunger and poverty. The Hunger Project are changing things, empowering and equipping men and women to end their own hunger and poverty sustainably and permanently. World Hunger Day is celebrating this; if u can't make the events in London please do what you can to promote WHD and help us raise funds locally. Anyone can give to World Hunger Day online in January via www.everyclick.com/worldhungerday
Hi, Kim, Don't forget to put a link to your post on the events page for the Homeless Persons' Memorial Day. I just came from Springfield's event, a sad affair...thanks again. (If you don't get to it today, there's always tomorrow!)
Today is the last day for the Stand Up Take Action Worldwide mobilization. If you have any (or any more) posts for Make NOISE to End Poverty Worldwide please get them in today so we can report them to the SUTA. Here is a LiveBinder link with all the posts so far http://bit.ly/9Lppj2 Monday UN MDG Summit.
Today September 18 is the main push for the Stand Up Take Action World Mobilization so if you have blog posts for Make NOISE to End Poverty Worldwide it would be great to get them up today!
Tomorrow 9/17 is the 1st day of the 3 day Stand Up End Poverty event http://bit.ly/cOjzoc to tell the World Governments meeting at the UN for the MDG Summit to keep their promise made a decade ago. Thank you for your posts. The best day for impact should be 9/18 but the day after will provide lots of material. I will try to approve posts ASAP but you will also be featured on my blog.
I have changed the BloggerUnite Make NOISE site so it goes there. From there you can go to their Facebook site, Twitter site, main site and back to here. Because its geo-based it uses my hometown but this is a global online event. Do me a big favor and to to http://bit.ly/atBAKq and click on I'm interested. first part of this message is below
A bit of serendipity. Stand Against Poverty who is overseeing the worldwide mobilization we are taking part in has made Meetup Events for all online and on street events. You can see it with this url http://bit.ly/atBAKq
Thank you for joining Bloggers Unite Make NOISE to End Poverty Worldwide. I have added you to the list of Bloggers of BloggersUnite to End Poverty Worldwide at the right hand column of by blog http://anewmillennium.blogspot.com/
Thank you so much for joining in on the World Hardship2Ease Day 2010. It's on the 23rd September, so have your dates set! This day will hopefully mean so much and change many lives, as it discusses a very serious topic indeed(self-harm). Imagine how amazing it would be to prevent even one person from inflicting harm upon themselves... Keep checking the blog for updates, especially after July, as I'll hopefully be making updates then! I look forward to your contributions. http://is.gd/cO21K
Monday is Homeless Memorial Day. More that 3,000 people died this year without a home to call their own. Thank you so much for taking time to include the homeless in your work.
